Our principal and staff
Our school team is committed to every student’s learning, wellbeing and sense of belonging. We work together to create a supportive and inclusive school where every child is set up for success.
Welcome from our principal
“Yama. Welcome to Gulgong High School.
We are a student-focused, outcomes-driven school where academic excellence, personal growth, and community spirit go hand in hand.
We pride ourselves on offering quality teaching and curriculum differentiation so that every student can achieve their personal best.
Our staff are dedicated and passionate about their work, creating engaging learning environments that challenge and inspire. We also celebrate the unique strengths of our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students, honouring culture, history, and contribution as an integral part of our school identity.
Respect and responsibility underpin everything we do. By building strong, positive relationships between students, staff, and families, we nurture a culture where young people feel supported to grow as learners and leaders. Our students are active contributors to the wider community, reflecting the values of respect, responsibility and learning that define Gulgong.
Together, we look forward to building on our strong traditions and creating even more opportunities for our students to shine.”
Nathan Wong, Principal of Gulgong High School
